MIAMI, Fla. -- One of the suspects charged with kidnapping a high school couple off South Beach is now facing charges of trying to arrange a hit from his cell.
Investigators said Joel Lebron asked a fellow inmate to set up a contract killing on the man he thought turned him into police in April.
But instead of a hit man, Lebron contacted an undercover officer. Just a few weeks ago, Lebron was moved from his cell when several inmates plotted to kill him because he was bragging about killing Ana Maria Angel, police said
